Personal
Weekend

Just got back from a weekend at the inlaws house outside Greenville, SC. Didn’t really do much other than sit around and bullshit. They have a really nice swimming pool so I helped Jack start to clean it up for the summer. Should be good to go next time we head out there. Probably a few weeks, I know Jack wants to go play some golf and Dustin and Lynn wouldn’t mind sitting by the pool all day.
They bought us a patio set for the hell of it. We certainly needed one. I love to grill, but up until now we always had to eat inside. It’ll also give me some area to set stuff down when im preping the grill.
We left for SC at about 4PM or so. Unfortunately, everyone else thought this would be a good time to head out of town as well. It took us around 3.5 hours to get there, when typically it should only take about 2.5 hours. The traffic on 20 sucks, always has, probably always will. We ended up staying 2 nights and coming home early Sunday morning, Lynn had to feed the horses and has some lessons today, so she had to be home early.. Again, it sucked, but all in all, the weekend was good.
Everyone but me?

So it seems I am the only one in the world left without a blog. So I decided to bite the bullet, pull down my boring, static, never updated webpage, and put up a flashy new blog.
I took a little time to search what would work best for me, I’m fairly decent with HTML/CSS, but I wanted something that would do most of the work for me. I also wanted something that was going to be relatively easy to update, so I wouldnt have to jump through hoops and restore backups when stuff breaks. Security was a MAJOR concern, any tech savvy person like myself always has that in the back of their mind.
To make a long story short, I ended up with Wordpress. Setup was relatively easy, and I managed to find a theme I liked with a few modification.
Now the real question is, will I take the time to update it on a regular basis? We shall see..
